Server License Tool

The Enterprise Server Administration Tool provides an interface to setup the server after install. It allows you to setup the database connection information and enable the features of the server using your registration key.

The first tab of the tool allows you enter you registration key. Your key determines if the server has been appropriately licensed. The key only unlocks the enterprise server on the machine which it resides. The key is tied to a machine and will not work on any other machine. The key also contains the number of clients that may connect to the enterprise server. The server license agreement specifies that you must purchase a license based on the number of clients that you wish to host.

The second tab allows you to setup the database information that the enterprise server uses to connect. The database does not have to be on the same machine. However the database must be accessible from the machine running the enterprise server.

The third tab enables you to setup client machines. Your license key provides a number of client machines allowed to access to the enterprise server. If a client machine is not in the list, it will not be allowed access to the server.
