Gravitybox Schedule.NET User’s Guide
Page 8
1998-2004 Gravitybox Software LLC
Note: There is also a “light” version that is distributed with the Gravitybox
WebSchedule.NET component.
You are first prompted for database information. You may create a new database or add
the enterprise tables to an existing database. You might wish to perform the latter if
scheduling is only part of your application and you wish to incorporate the enterprise
capability into your larger application.
The next screen prompts you for the specific database information that is used to create
or update the database. The server name is pre-populated with the name of the current
machine. The database name is by default “Gravitybox”. You may set this to any name
you wish. If you choose to populate an existing database then the database name
should be the name of the existing database to use. If you choose to create a new
database, a database with the specified name will be created. If a database already
exists with this name, it will be backed-up to the install folder, removed, and re-created
with a new image. SQL Server uses the folder paths and in almost all cases there is no
need to change this information.
