Server Configuration Tool
Note: This server configuration and licensing sections does not apply to the light version
of the setup since the Enterprise Server is not installed.
After the server install is complete, you can run the provided “Enterprise Server License
Tool” to enter your license information. The license file will only work on the machine for
which it was generated. You must know which machine is going to host the Enterprise
Server before you apply for a license. The license file contains the number of accounts
that you are able to host on your server machine. In most cases this will be one, as
most applications require only one master schedule to be synchronized between clients.
The database contains an account table that holds all accounts for the machine. This
table must not be modified manually. If it deviates from the information in the license
file, the web server will not run. You will need to re-run the server license tool to reset
the database to the defaults if this occurs.
The license tool allows you to configure all aspects of the Enterprise Server. On the first
screen you may apply a license obtained from Gravitybox. The license is tied to the
current server machine. To obtain a license you must submit the “Server ID” field to
Gravitybox for license generation. The image below shows the server has not been
licensed.
